The 10-Step Defense System

Most pest control companies spray the perimeter and leave. We deliver 10 distinct steps on every visit — because pests don't just live on your perimeter.

The Competition

  • ✗ Perimeter spray only
  • ✗ No interior crack treatment
  • ✗ No ant colony elimination
  • ✗ No web or nest removal
  • ✗ No termite inspection
  • ✗ No rodent evaluation
  • ✗ No property recommendations

What Each Step Does — and Why It Matters

01💧

Perimeter Spray

What We Do

A liquid insecticide barrier is applied around the full exterior perimeter of your home — along the foundation, entry points, and pest travel routes.

Why It Matters

This is the baseline that most companies stop at. The perimeter spray kills and repels active pests on contact and creates a chemical barrier that works for weeks. But pests that are already inside, hiding in cracks, or entering through interior gaps are completely unaffected by a perimeter spray alone. That's why we always pair it with the remaining 9 steps.

vs. Perimeter-Only Services

Some companies offer a "power spray" or "super spray" — these are just higher-volume perimeter applications. More volume doesn't mean better coverage if you're missing the interior harborage areas, cracks, and entry points where pests actually live.

02🔍

Crack & Crevice Treatment

What We Do

Targeted insecticide is injected directly into cracks, gaps, and crevices — along baseboards, around plumbing penetrations, under appliances, inside cabinets, and in any gap where pests hide and breed.

Why It Matters

German cockroaches, ants, silverfish, and many other pests live and breed deep inside cracks — not in open areas where a perimeter spray reaches. Without crack & crevice treatment, you can spray the exterior all day and still have a roach infestation in your kitchen walls. This step targets pests where they actually live.

vs. Perimeter-Only Services

A standard perimeter-only service completely misses the interior harborage areas that sustain infestations. Crack & crevice treatment is what separates a professional service from a DIY spray can.

03🌿

Granular Spread

What We Do

Insecticide granules are broadcast around the foundation, landscaping beds, and yard — particularly in areas with mulch, gravel, or organic debris where pests nest.

Why It Matters

Granules work differently than liquid sprays. They break down slowly, releasing insecticide over time as pests walk through them or as moisture activates the product. They create a long-lasting residual barrier in the yard that liquid sprays can't maintain. Critical for scorpion control, fire ant elimination, and stopping ground-level pests before they reach your foundation.

vs. Perimeter-Only Services

Most budget pest control services skip granular application because it takes more time and material. The result is a treatment that wears off quickly and leaves your yard as a staging ground for new invasions.

04🐜

Gel Baits for Ants

What We Do

Gel bait stations are placed in key ant activity areas — along trails, near entry points, and inside problem areas. Worker ants carry the bait back to the colony, eliminating the queen and the entire nest.

Why It Matters

Contact sprays kill the ants you can see but leave the colony intact underground. Within days the colony replenishes. Gel bait works by exploiting the colony's food-sharing behavior — the poison travels back through the entire nest. It's the only method that achieves true colony elimination rather than surface suppression.

vs. Perimeter-Only Services

Competitors spraying a perimeter and calling it done are killing scout ants while leaving tens of thousands of workers and the queen completely untouched. Gel baits eliminate the source.

Web Removal

What We Do

Spider webs, egg sacs, and webbing are physically removed from eaves, windows, corners, garage doors, fences, and all exterior surfaces during every visit.

Why It Matters

Active webs signal active spiders — including potentially dangerous black widows and brown recluses. Web removal eliminates egg sacs before they hatch (one egg sac can contain 200+ spiderlings), removes the visual sign of infestation, and disrupts spider territory so they abandon the area. It also removes the debris that attracts other insects that spiders feed on.

vs. Perimeter-Only Services

Most companies spray and leave. Web removal requires physical work at every visit — it's time-consuming, which is why many services skip it. We don't.

06🪨

Mud Dauber Removal

What We Do

Mud dauber nests are physically removed from eaves, walls, window frames, garage doors, and any structure surface where they've been built.

Why It Matters

Mud daubers are wasps that build clay tubes filled with paralyzed spiders as food for their larvae. While a single mud dauber is not aggressive, active nests attract other wasp species and the accumulation of nests can cause cosmetic damage and structural issues over time. Removal also disrupts the local spider population mud daubers prey on — and prey on.

vs. Perimeter-Only Services

Mud dauber removal is a step that requires time and attention to every inch of your roofline and eaves. Services that only spray the perimeter will never catch this.

07🐝

Wasp Nest Removal

What We Do

Active wasp and hornet nests are treated and physically removed from eaves, overhangs, fences, trees, and any structure on the property.

Why It Matters

Wasp nests left in place continue to grow — a small nest in spring becomes a colony of 1,000+ by late summer. Wasps near entry points are a direct safety risk, especially for children and pets. Removal prevents re-infestation of the same location and eliminates the immediate threat.

vs. Perimeter-Only Services

Spraying the perimeter does nothing to an active wasp nest 8 feet up under your eave. Nest removal requires direct treatment and physical removal — a step that takes time but protects your family.

08📋

Property Inspection & Recommendations

What We Do

Every visit includes a visual inspection of the property for conducive conditions — moisture issues, wood-to-soil contact, entry points, harborage areas, and other conditions that attract or enable pests.

Why It Matters

Pest control without inspection is just spraying chemicals and hoping for the best. As a company founded by Master Home Inspectors, we understand that pest problems are almost always caused by a building condition — a gap, a moisture source, a structural issue. We identify those conditions and give you specific recommendations so the problem doesn't keep coming back.

vs. Perimeter-Only Services

Most pest control companies are not trained inspectors. They treat the symptom — the pest — without diagnosing the cause. Our inspector background means every visit is also a property assessment.

09🪲

Exterior Visual Termite Inspection

What We Do

A trained visual inspection of the exterior foundation, eaves, wood members, and soil-contact areas for signs of termite activity — mud tubes, frass, damage, and conducive conditions.

Why It Matters

El Paso has an active subterranean termite population. Most homeowners don't know they have termites until structural damage has already occurred. Catching early signs — a small mud tube, a suspicious moisture area — can save tens of thousands of dollars in repairs. We include this inspection at every visit because it costs nothing extra and can catch a major problem early.

vs. Perimeter-Only Services

No standard perimeter spray service includes a termite inspection. This step alone is a significant differentiator — and it's included on every visit at no additional charge.

10🐀

Rodent Entry Point Evaluation

What We Do

A visual assessment of the exterior for gaps, penetrations, and entry points that rodents use to access the structure — evaporative cooler openings, weep holes, plumbing gaps, garage door seals, and utility penetrations.

Why It Matters

A mouse can fit through a gap the size of a dime. Rats need only a quarter-size opening. In El Paso, evaporative coolers, aging stucco, and unscreened weep holes are among the most common rodent entry points. Identifying these on every visit means we catch new openings before they become active intrusions — and we can recommend exclusion before you have a full infestation.

vs. Perimeter-Only Services

Competitors who focus only on chemical treatment will never catch a new gap forming in your garage door seal or a weep hole that lost its screen. Our evaluation is proactive, not reactive.
